Breeches role - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
To see real women speak the risqué dialogue of Restoration comedy and show off their bodies on stage was a great novelty, and soon the even greater sensation was introduced of women wearing male clothes on stage.
The most common kind of breeches role in the 17th century is one where a woman character puts on male disguise in order to overcome some obstacle to marrying her lover.
The discovery of the character's real gender on stage often involved a discovery of her breasts, and there are many references in prologues and diaries of the period to the fascination of seeing the actress' buttocks, hips, and legs, normally hidden by a skirt, outlined by the male outfit.

 Clothes Moths
Clothes moths are well-known as pests of stored woolens, but they will eat a wide range of other fibers including hair, fur, silk, felt and feathers.
The casemaking clothes moth, in particular, may travel considerable distances from the infested article to spin its cocoon in a protected crack, or along the juncture of a wall and ceiling.
Clothes moths may also be found infesting upholstered furniture (both inside and out), and in air ducts where the larvae may be feeding on lint, shed pet hair and other bits of debris.

THE Greeks first appear in history in the eighth century B.C.; the legendary date for the Trojan War is 1194-1184 B.C. Clothes made of pure silk were very costly, as this material was brought from the East.
For stage use, two large squares of cheese-cloth or crepe de Chine, closed by seams on the sides to within twelve inches of the open top, wet, wrung out and left tightly rolled until dry will, when the body is wriggled through, give a good imitation of the impression one receives from the marbles.

Fabric Insect Pests:  Moths & Carpet Beetles
Clothes moths are usually blamed for insect damage on fabrics, but other insect pests, most notably carpet beetles, are also able to cause serious damage.
Clothing and blankets in constant use are seldom damaged by these pests nor are carpets that get normal traffic or are routinely vacuumed.
Clothes moths and carpet beetles often breed in hair-based accumulations that might be found behind baseboards, under door jambs, inside heating vents, etc. Clean and vacuum carefully.

THE 9 STAGES OF PREGNANCY Most of the classics texts on pregnancy and childbirth focus on the three trimesters of pregnancy, but my research has led me to believe that there are in fact nine stages, not necessarily aligned to the nine months pregnancy.
Stage 8: The baby is born, and you think "Great, now I'll be thin again!" Then you look down at your belly, which looks like an empty sack, and doesn't roll over when you do -- and you realize you still have a long way to go.
Stage 9: Sick of wearing your maternity clothes, and finally realizing that you're not going to be wearing your regular clothes for a long time, you break down, and go out and buy a whole wardrobe two sizes bigger than you started out.

Pests of Stored Fabric and Textiles
The three moths that feed upon textiles are the webbing clothes moth, the casemaking clothes moth, and the tapestry moth.
Like textile pests in general, it is the larval stage of clothes moths who cause the damage to clothing, tapestries, and other textile items by their feeding activity.
All clothing should be washed or dry-cleaned before being stored, since body oils, sweat, food, and other organic matter on clothing may make it more attractive to stored fabric pests.

On this tour, as before, Jagger is likely to take the stage in a three-quarter-length coat, then do a gradual striptease during the first songs; later, he will leave and reappear in a more ornate coat, creating a moment of fashion drama.
