Stairway To Heaven: The Greatest Song of All Time?
"Stairway To Heaven: Is This the Greatest Song of All Time?" If you're between seventeen and fifty and "Stairway" is not your favorite tune, you're probably too out of it to care that rock's eight-minute miracle turns twenty this month.
In 1978, Little Roger and the Goosebumps released a version of "Stairway" with Roger's falsetto crooning the words to the theme song of the TV series "Gilligan's Island." Led Zeppelin's attorney Louis Nizer sent a letter charging copyright infringement and intent to "mock" Zeppelin and demanded that all available copies of the song be recalled.
Just because "Stairway to Heaven" still turns up as the number one rock song of all time doesn't mean it's any good.

"Stairway to Heaven" is one of the biggest-selling sheet music publications in rock history.

 Led Zeppelin: Stairway to Heaven
'Stairway to Heaven' was released on the band's 4th Album in 1971.
Besides the performance itself, the greatest impact to the listener during 'Stairway To Heaven' is that ethereal feeling of awe & wonder; especially when hearing it for the first time (all the while trying to comprehend that this is the same band who wrote 'Dazed & Confused' & 'Traveling Riverside Blues' - respectively).
There may be stronger performances in the Zeppelin catalog of music, but if it must be 'Stairway To Heaven' that strikes that chord in people to listen to all things Zeppelin, than the song's impact is as relevant today as any force on Earth.

Heaven agrees to a trial to decide his fate.
This is a lovely bit of movie-making; one of the wittier conceits is that life on earth is depicted on sumptuous technicolour, while heaven is in silvery fl-and-white (the normal practice would have been to have it the other way round).
Interestingly, the "heaven" sequences are fl and white, while the "earth" sequences are in Technicolor.

The Straight Dope: What’s the story behind Led Zepplin’s "Stairway to Heaven?"
My two favorite songs are "Hotel California" and "Stairway to Heaven." You explained HC very well, but S2H remains a mystery.
According to band lore, Robert Plant composed most of the lyrics in a single day during sessions at Headley Grange, a former poorhouse in Hampshire, England, then being used by rock groups as a rehearsal space and studio.
In sum, we've got the well-known psychosociochemical influences of the era, we've got an extremely compressed compositional time frame, and we've got a poetical sensibility that, to be objective about it (and believe me, I like "Stairway to Heaven"), probably rates between 2 and 3 millishakespeares.

Stairway to Heaven (2003) - Korean Drama Reviews - spcnet.tv
STH is a sappy love story through and through with no sub-plot for the other characters in the series.
For first-timers to Korean drama, be prepared to be sucked into the sappiness of STH, and I pray you come out ok after watching this as it will grip you, tear you apart and leave you completely heartbroken.
STH deserves only 4 stars although the story was well structured (but one-dimensional), had with a pair of captivating leads and flawless execution by the cast, because I think the love depicted here was really too far-fetched and over-idealised.

Compare Prices and Read Reviews on Stairway to Heaven at Epinions.com
Released in the United States under the awful title, Stairway to Heaven, this absolutely wonderful Powell/Pressburger concoction was originally released in the UK under a much more fitting title, A Matter of Life and Death.
In a brilliantly funny move, when the film transistions to heaven, it is seen in fl and white, a sharp contrast to the 'real world' technicolor that the majority of the film takes place in (and it needs be said that the cinematography and overall look of this film is extraordinary).
And that is where I basically stop the plot synopsis, because if this review has convinced you to seek out and watch this film in any way, I want you to discover the rest of it for yourself.
