In a departure from Monkey Island 2, where the graphics were as realistic as was possible at the time, The Curse’s graphics are cartoony, as in Sam and Max, or Day of the Tentacle.
Monkey Island buffs will be thrilled at the return of Wally, the Voodoo Priestess, Stan and of course LeChuck himself.

I have always loved the Monkey Island series, I was hoping that another existed, but I was a little upset to find that I couldn’t locate another of the series.
Concept-After the dramatic events of ‘Curse of Monkey Island’, Guybrush and Elaine are returning to Melee Island after their honeymoon, to find that no one on the Island is welcoming them home.
While the puzzles were quite simple and easy in the previous Monkey Islands, what I don’t like about this one is the fact that the puzzles have increased in difficulty.

One of the things I most admire about the Monkey Island series is that all three of them manage to pack a tremendous amount of humor and high spirits into the proceedings while at the same time not sacrificing heavy-duty gameplay.
Still, while you're waiting for Escape from Monkey Island to arrive in your mailbox, you could do much worse than to revisit Guybrush and pals as he attempts to lift The Curse of Monkey Island.
