 | | I'm sure Stantler is no better than the plethora of other commonly-overlooked Pokemon out there, but as far as I'm concerned he's the greatest thing since sliced bread (sliced bread isn't really all that great, come to think of it, but it's an instantly recognizable reference). |
| | Stantler's wickedly bad defensive stats can actually help it drive Confuse Ray home on occasion; I've seen Pokemon who are both faster than Stantler and carrying Safeguard fail to employ the move because they thought they could take Stantler down with a single attack. |
| | Well, Stantler does receive STAB for the respectably-powered Return, so start hammering away with that move and hope that your opponent remains out of the loop long enough for you to take them down without getting slaughtered. |
