	Star Control - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Star Control II: The Ur-Quan Masters (officially "II", often written as "2") was written by Toys for Bob (Fred Ford and Paul Reiche III) and originally published by Accolade in 1992 for PC; it was later ported to the Macintosh, and the 3DO with an enhanced multimedia presentation, allowed by the CD technology.
		Star Control II was highly influenced, both in story and game design, by the games Starflight (1986) and Starflight 2: Trade Routes of the Cloud Nebula (1989), developed by Binary Systems and released on a variety of platforms by Electronic Arts.
		Star Control 3 was developed by Legend Entertainment, hired by Accolade to create a sequel when the original creators expressed their disinterest in churning out a sequel right away.

		I just finished it for the second time, and it is a fun read because i'm such a fanatic about the game, however to anyone familiar with the star control universe, which I have been for 10 years, it is truly pitiful.
		The book is quite readable, but for anyone who has never played the star control series, I would say it would be quite impossible to know what is going on.
		This book would be good for those that are familiar with the Star Control universe, otherwise it may be too confusing for those that aren't.
