As you all should know by now, Star Wars: Episode III- The Revenge of the Sith is the last installment of the Prequel Trilogy and details Anakin Skywalker's turn to the Dark Side of the Force and Chancellor Palpatine's rise to emperor of the galaxy.
This is very disheartening, not only as a fan of Star Wars, but as a fan of cinema in general, to see that actors are allowed to get away with this kind of thing by their directors.
Episode III was better than its two predecessors, but worse than all three of its successors.

Star Wars and Raiders of the Lost Ark, with their swashbuckling, globe-trotting and self-conscious references to 1940’s adventure serials, felt more like something from the Errol Flynn era than the era of Woody Allen and his apartment-based dramas.
Star Wars and Raiders of the Lost Ark were released at the height of the Cold War, with America engaged in an epochal struggle with the Soviet Union - a struggle we didn’t seem to be winning.
Episode III may be many things, but it certainly is neither a critique of ‘American Imperialism’ (at least, not a very effective critique) nor a parable for the Iraq War or larger War on Terror.
