Before the Clone Wars began, a group of Jedi led by the legendary Master Jorus C'baoth lobbied the Republic Senate to fund a project to search for intelligent life outside the known galaxy.
But as the new era begins, planetary interests threaten to disrupt this time of relative peace, and Luke is plagued with visions of an approaching darkness.
Following the eruption of the bloody Clone Wars at the battle of Geonosis, both sides remain deadlocked in a stalemate that can be broken only by elite warrior teams like Omega Squad, clone commandos with terrifying combat skills and a lethal arsenal.

Gaming Target - Xbox: Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Preview
For years Star Wars fans have received only the barest of information about the legendary Clone Wars, and it wasn’t until Episode II that the roots of the struggle were revealed for the first time.
As these precursors to the Victory-class Star Destroyers lift-off, the dark strains of the Imperial March herald the darkness that is to come, as a terrible conflict begets yet another, even more terrible struggle for freedom, one that’s depicted in A New Hope and its sequels.
John William’s famous score is presented throughout the adventure, and Star Wars fans will feel right at home as soon as they boot-up the game.

Review: Star Wars (Episode II): Attack of the Clones
The Star Wars Tatooine moisture farm homestead is faithfully recreated (some thirty years earlier).
And it also shares elements in common with Lucas' earlier Star Wars middle episode, The Empire Strikes Back.
Admittedly, the primary purpose of this film is to advance the overall story, bridging the gap between the lightweight, heroic antics of The Phantom Menace and the overwhelming darkness of the as-yet unnamed Episode III.

 Review - The New Rebellion
Rusch has made a great contribution to Star Wars lore with The New Republic, but there are a couple of criticisms concerning her novel that need to be addressed.
With these criticisms, The New Republic represents a bold move in Star Wars mythos.
From Ben Kenobi's attempt to teach Anakin Skywalker to the Imperial Senate's toleration of Senator Palpatine's lust for power to the possibility that Luke might turn to the Dark Side in Return of the Jedi, the Star Wars mythos reminds us that threats from within could be more dangerous than any from without.

While I loved Episode I for what it was--the lightest story in the Star Wars saga that was needed to contrast the darkness to follow--I will no doubt be thrilled by the darker, romantic, and more action-oriented Episode II.
The background to Episode II is a galaxy-wide separatist movement, led by the Trade Federation, threatening to break up the Republic.
Compared to the original trilogy of Episodes IV-VI, Episode I was a much lighter story--very contrasting to the others in the saga, displaying the galaxy at its high point before its downfall.

Vodo-Siosk Baas was patient, kind, and caring Jedi Master who always tried to teach the value of patience to his pupils - but many times did not succeed, sadly.
