	Stardate - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Stardate is one of the dating conventions used in the fictional Star Trek universe.
		Stardates were created as an abstract idea with little thought to actual implementation, choosing to leave the idea up to the imaginations of the viewers.
		The stardates specified in the log entry must be computed against the speed of the vessel, the space warp, and its position within our galaxy, in order to give a meaningful reading.

		These stardates take the form YYXXX.XX where the first two digits refer to the year with 2323 being year zero and the remaining digits being the decimal portion of the year.
