Starjammers - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The story of the Starjammers began with Christopher Summers, a military pilot returning with his family from a trip to Alaska.
The Starjammers have had many adventures across the universe, many of them on Earth with the X-Men, during which Christopher Summers finally met his long lost sons, now X-Men.
The Starjammers are slated to appear in the upcoming story arcs of Uncanny X-Men accompanied by Lilandra.

Corsair (comics) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
He leads the spacefaring team the Starjammers and is best known as the father of X-Men superheroes Cyclops, Havok and Vulcan.
Years later, Corsair and the Starjammers met his son Scott, now the mutant hero Cyclops and leader of the X-Men, in the final battle against D'ken. Though at first ignorant of each other's identities, they eventually learned the truth and were reconciled.
Corsair's felt that since he could not keep the plane from crashing and that he could not save his own wife, he felt that Scott and Alex were in better hands in the care of the various homes that his two sons stayed at rather than with him.

Lastly the Starjammers, a band of interstellar pirates, were established and their leader turned out to be nobody else than the long lost father of Cyclops.
Lilandra joined the Starjammers to rebel against Deathbird’s forceful rule of the empire, but it was only much later, and under unexpected circumstances, that she could recleim the throne.
After the Warskrulls were defeated and the Starjammers released, Deathbird gave up the throne to Lilandra, for during her time as ruling Shi`ar Empress, she had come to hate the responsibilities of maintaining the needs of the Empire.

Polite Dissent » Comic Review: Starjammers #1 and #2: comics, medicine, and medical comics
Starjammers is a surprising fun comic that does a good job of telling a classic space opera tale.
There is the splendor of the royal courtiers contrasting with the rough and tumble Starjammer pirates.
While Raza and Ch’od are present, they are the only Starjammers I recognize; the rest of the pirate crew are sentient plants known as Thorns.

Let's be honest: the Starjammers, characters spun off from the X-Men, are pretty much C-list all the way, and even those who have a fondness for them like myself wouldn't really suggest that the characters are going to set the sales charts on fire.
It hardly matters that the Starjammers who make their appearance here could realistically have had these adventures before they hooked up with Corsair in Shi'ar space, because the spirit of the Marvel Universe's space realm is completely lost here.
Starjammers is disappointing not just because it's a mediocre comic but because it's a mediocre comic that could have been so much more.

 Corsair
They called their ship the Starjammer (they have had at least two starships by that name) and themselves the Starjammers, and began engaging in space piracy, thus taking vengeance on the Shi'ar by plundering their starships, but taking care not to harm innocent passengers in the process.
However, the Starjammers again became outlaws, since they were known to be Lilandra's allies, once her sister Deathbird, staged a coup d'etat and seized the throne.
The Starjammers have since aided Lilandra and the X-Men in their struggle against the alien Brood, who were Deathbird's allies.

The Starjammers are a severely underused part of the X-Men universe, certainly in recent years anyway.

Recently, sensing telepathically that her lover Xavier was dying, Lilandra and the Starjammers' leader, Corsair, journeyed through an artificially created stargate from the Shi'ar Galaxy to Earth and back, taking Xavier with them.
The advanced medical technology of the Starjammers fully healed Xavier's injuries, but they were unable to return him to Earth since their own ship's special hyperspace drive for intergalactic travel was damaged, and the Shi'ar stargates were all now heavily defended against Starjammer intrusions.
