British band Starsailor took their name from this album.
The album had a brief reissue on CD by the Rhino/Bizarre label, but like the other Tim Buckley release on the Straight Records label, Blue Afternoon, it drifted out of print due to apparent legal battles over who owned the material.
In 2006, the album was released on the iTunes Music Store, making it available to the general public once more.

In the review starsailor are criticised by nme for trying to be to commercial as if it is some kind of sin.
Starsailor's album has barely been advertised and generally doesen't need to be they can be succesful without hype and advertisements.One wonders where the average monkeys and the kaiser chiefs would be if not for nme's hype.

Starsailor have never been the most rock 'n' roll band, in the sense that they honour all their live commitments, aren't ravaged by crack addiction and produce music that is not controversial and accessible to all.

While this is their second album and it sounds much like the first, I’m still convinced that Starsailor can get better…if they start putting a bit more variety in their music.
I know that each song in an album should have at least some sort of stylistic continuity, otherwise it should be on another album or would sound like a completely different band, but this is too much.
These belong as the theme songs to television shows, not as the background song during the thoughtful interlude for the main character while he or she contemplates suicide/death/war/abortion/friendship/the horror of drugs/drinking/their abusive uncle, but the music that plays over the opening credits and becomes synonymous with the show.

Starsailor's debut LP has been eagerly awaited by many and the band, as we all know, have been well hyped (now isn't that unusual?) as capable of great, great things.
However, unlike uninvited sideways movement in your underwear, the Starsailor experience can sometimes be a pleasant one.
It will not frighten the elderly and your middle aged parents will like you for buying it, but there are definite pointers that we have a band who, with time to decide what they are, could produce something very special indeed.
