Starscream's rash and spiteful actions led to the resurrection of the Autobots on Earth, when a blast intended to trap the Autobots there forever caused Optimus Prime to fall into the life-giving rays of Teletraan I, who soon had all his fellow Autobots ready for action again.
Starscream intended to use Ore-13 to challenge Megatron for leadership of the Decepticons, but when the moment of truth finally arrived, the energy source proved insufficient to destroy the Decepticon leader, and Megatron blasted Starscream with his fusion cannon at point-blank range, virtually obliterating him.

Starscream was formerly a scientist and explorer, working with the Autobot Skyfire, during the Golden Age of Cybertron, shortly before the Autobot/Decepticon war erupted again.

Starscream was one of the more interesting characters to come out of Armada.
Both are cast in the same dark, translucent green as the rest of Starscream, which is quite a contrast to the brighter green of the weapons on Battle Ravage, perhaps indicating different methods/origins for Starscream's manipulation of Energon.
While Starscream is a unique mold, fans of the War Within comic series will be happy to hear that the designers took some design cues from that series.

Starscream's parimary color is light gray, and it's actually quite a bit lighter than the G1 Starscream.
In robot mode, Starscream reminds me a bit of his animated version, mainly because much of the sticker detail given to the G1 toy is absent here, so you have a plain red upper body, plain legs and feet, something which the cartoon used (with a couple minor details tossed in).
Overall, Starscream is a cool example of the "World's Smallest Transformers", and a worthwhile purchase.
