Refusal of the person making the report to give a name shall not preclude the department's investigation of the alleged abuse, neglect, dependency, or death as a result of maltreatment.
If sexual abuse in a child care facility is not alleged in the initial report, but during the course of the investigation there is reason to suspect that sexual abuse has occurred, the director shall immediately notify the State Bureau of Investigation.
Upon notification that sexual abuse may have occurred in a child care facility, the State Bureau of Investigation may form a task force to investigate the report.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation shall make a reasonable effort to investigate the information submitted by the applicant and the sheriff, to ascertain whether or not the issuance of a handgun license would be in violation of the provisions of the Oklahoma Self-Defense Act.
In the course of the Bureau’s investigation, it shall present the name of the applicant along with any known aliases, the address of the applicant and the social security number of the applicant to the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services.
The notification shall state the grounds for the denial and inform the applicant of the right to an appeal as may be provided by the provisions of the Administrative Procedures Act.

Department of Correction and State Bureau of Investigation officials today announced the arrests of 15 inmates at Central Prison as the result of a year-long investigation at the facility.
The 15 inmates, nine of whom had been transferred to other prisons at the time of the arrests, were each charged with one count of possession of a controlled substance in a penal institution, a class I felony.
Central Prison is the state’s only maximum security prison housing approximately 1,020 adult male inmates.
