Stefan Christian Holm (born May 25, 1976 in Forshaga, Sweden) is an athlete competing in high jump.
Stefan Holm's big breakthrough on to the world athletics scene came in 2000, when he finished 4th at the Sydney Olympics with a leap of 2.32m.
For many of his childhood years, Stefan played soccer (following in the footsteps of his father, who was at that time a goalkeeper in ÖDIK in the fourth division), but it wasn't until 1991 when Stefan realized that he had more potential as a high jumper than a footballer.
