Klos is undoubtedly a world class goal keeper, being top candidate for the German number1 jersey, but his move to Rangers is somewhat surprising (especially when you see that his yearly wages total £1.25million).
Rangers have, in Charbonnier, a keeper whom I view to be of a better standard than Klos and so when Charbonnier is fit again I don't see Klos keeping his place in the team.
The only explanation that I can see is that Rangers are planning to sell off either Klos or Charbonnier for a profit because I don't think two players of such caliber could stay at the one team with only one position to fight over.

 BigSoccer Boards - Stefan Klos
Stefan Klos is injured and out for the rest of the season.
That Stefan Klos never got to play for Germany at least once is one of the great mysteries to me. He was a superb keeper already in Germany and he played for the most successful German team of the mid-1990s, Borussia Dortmund, yet Germany manager Berti Vogts never called him up to play for Germany.
Whilst in training on Thursday, the team were playing 7v7 or something and one of the players had the ball going towards Stefan and Stefan went one way but his body stayed the other and his studs got caught in the turf, and tore his cruciate ligament.
