Stellarium is really old, in terms of when it should have been on digg, anyway better late than never.
Actually, with its night vision mode (which switches the interface to red), it's a reason to take a laptop with Stellarium installed with you on a stargazing expidition.

Stellarium did change my longitude and latitude, but the time it was using seems to be the time from your script converted to my local time here in the UK.
In fact Stellarium always seems to do that to objects that are focussed on.
