Wardell Stephen Curry (born June 25, 1964 in Harrisonburg, Virginia) is a former professional basketball player at the shooting guard position who played in the National Basketball Association from 1986 until 2001.
The 6' 5" Curry was selected 15th overall by the Utah Jazz in the 1986 NBA Draft after attending Virginia Tech.
In Charlotte, Curry was primarily used off the bench where he was utilised as an instant scoring threat, especially from behind the three-point line.
