Stern learned that the plaintiff did not have a firm and binding commitment with the Gatzaros group which would include the purchase price of defendant's property, and he refused to go forward with the signing of any additional documents and commitments to plaintiff.
Stern was also told at this meeting that the Gatzaros group did not have the $400,000.00 down payment or the 4 million dollar purchase price that would be due under the contract for the purchase of the property proposed by plaintiff Hollowell.

 Prisoner's Dilemma
We assume here that the game is symmetric, i.e., that the reward, punishment, temptation or sucker payoff is the same for each player, and payoffs have only ordinal significance, i.e., they indicate whether one payoff is better than another, but tell us nothing about how much better.
The most obvious generalization from the two-player to the many-player game would pay each player R if all cooperate, P if all defect, and, if some cooperate and some defect, it would pay the cooperators S and the defectors T. But it is unlikely that we face many situations of this structure.
No human agents can actually play an infinitely repeated game, of course, but the infinite IPD has been considered an appropriate way to model a series of interactions in which the participants never have reason to think the current interaction is their last.

I'd also be curious to know if Stern has market research that indicates that a licensed theme is worth the cost, or if they just assume the tie-in will increase game play.
IMO paying the license fees for a pin is an unnecessary expense, other than that it probably make it easier to design a game based on an established theme as opposed to having to create something totally new.
