When Steve was 20, he helped Ed and a small crew from Blair Films (named after Steve's sister Blair) film the 1962 NFL Championship Game between the Packers and the Giants.
Blair Films soon became NFL Films, and Steve and Ed were two of a total of eight employees at NFL Films' Philadelphia studio/offices in 1963.
Today there are 305 people who call Steve Sabol boss, and the prosperous and much honored company (it has almost as many Emmys as employees) has just completed a yearlong move into its 200,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facilities in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey.
