	Ultravox - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		The band was formed in 1973 on the initiative of vocalist, songwriter and keyboardist John Foxx (born Dennis Leigh).
		Their eponymous debut album was co-produced by Eno (whose next job after these sessions was working with Bowie on his Low album) and Steve Lillywhite.
		Stevie Shears left the band to form the new band Faith Global.

		Steves shining moments were really with "The Naughty Yours Boys" who actually played in Norway whilst they were still at school.
		As for Steve Shears, much respect to him for his work with Ultravox and the sound he helped to create.

		Shear manufacturers and sharpeners usually use the opposite measurement, so the square grind of a simple child's paper scissor is 0 degrees, and the higher the angle the thinner and sharper the shear.
		Hair cutting shears are almost always over 45 degrees by this measure.

		I know that this series is highly thought of by many here in Steve land because of the flat transfers and no noise reduction, but when this this CD came out I was so disappointed because it sounded like they used some crappy third generation tape.
		My original US vinyl sounded better (Deja vu again) and as a result I did not purchase another from that series.
