		Wishbone Ash was formed in 1969 by bassist Martin Turner and drummer Steve Upton.
		For the first time in 14 years, Andy Powell and Steve Upton joined forces with Martin Turner and Ted Turner to release the album Nouveau Calls, released in 1987.
		The band was shocked when founding member Steve Upton, the band's drummer for their entire career, announced his retirement from the music business.

		Also “Lady Whisky” proves the band largely worked with simple, repetitive structures, until the band decide halfway the song to rock out a bit with one of their few “bang your head”-moments.
		While “Handy” is a great showcase for Turner’s elastic bass playing, Upton’s jazz-inflected drumming (check out his solo after 8 minutes or so and the hard-swinging interlude following it), and both’ guitarists’ neo-psychedelic noodling, album closer “Phoenix” might be the album’s epicentre.
		A concert favorite throughout their career and a song that would wind up on several (live) albums, it’s probably one of the band’s signature songs, and with good reason.

		Things change when Cheyenne eyeballs the innocent pretty daughter of Uncle Willie, Allison (Evelyn Keyes), and the fastest gun in the territory takes a job as a cowboy and aims to go straight to win Allison's hand in marriage.
		It concludes with Steve getting into trouble when he helps the framed Cheyenne escape jail, and in turn Cheyenne sticks in town to return the favor when Steve is placed in jail.

		Neil Barstow was invited to speak in a seminar entitled Advanced - Better Scanner Profiles and Customer Files at GATF 2003 in Arizona - also taking part in a Lab session with Derek Brown and Steve Upton - Setting Up Digital Camera Profiles and a few very interestign panel sessions.
