Steve White (born on 31 May 1965 in Bermondsey, London) is an English drummer, who has worked extensively with Paul Weller, The Style Council and other British musicians.
His brother Alan White is also a drummer, who played in the famous brit pop band - Oasis for nine years (1995-2004).
A couple of years ago, Alan had said about Steve that beside influences as Ringo Starr and Bonzo, the one that had influenced his career was his brother Steve.

The connection between Cursive and The White Octave is really much less esoteric than Òsound" or Òrecord label" or even Òtheme": Steve Pedersen was Cursive's original guitarist when they formed in 1995.
The White Octave rightfully shares a little of Cursive's sound; they too are of the Indie/Post-Hardcore impossible-to-categorize non-genre.
I actually would have preferred they stay Hardcore-ish throughout, because they make that sound much more their own, and those are the catchier and better written songs.

The guitarist is Francis Dunnery and the drummer is Gary Husband, both world class musicians.
