Fresh milk products and great customer service at Stew Leonard's
Stew Leonard's history can be traced back to the early 1920s, when Charles Leo Leonard started Clover Farms Dairy in Norwalk, Connecticut.
Stew Leonard's dream was to build a retail dairy store where children could watch milk being bottled, while mothers did their shopping in a farmer's market atmosphere.
Stew Leonard's was dubbed the "Disneyland of Dairy Stores" by the New York Times, because of its own milk processing plant, costumed characters, scheduled entertainment, petting zoo and animatronics throughout the stores.

Stew - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A stew is a common dish made of vegetables, meat, poultry, or seafood cooked in some sort of broth or sauce.
The line between stew and soup is a fine one, but generally a stew's ingredients are cut in larger pieces and retain some of their individual flavours, a stew may have thicker broth, and a stew is more likely to be eaten as a main course than as a starter.
Popular recipes for regional stews, such as gumbo, bouillabaise, Brunswick stew, and burgoo became common during the 19th century and have increased in popularity during the 20th century.

Stew: Something Deeper Than These Changes - PopMatters Music Review
It's people like me who are drawn to Stew (his "solo" project, quotes necessary because he never goes anywhere without his main partner in crime, singer/instrumentalist Heidi Rodewald), people who seek to discover the world in what we read and what we write and what we hear people say and sing in their songs.
Stew is thought of as a songwriter rather than a singer, due to hyperbole from, well, critics like me. If anyone was paying attention, though, Something Deeper Than These Changes would change all of their minds.
And Stew freaks his voice into full-on Fop mode for his part in "The Instrument of Pain", which is a kind of philosophical-argument duet with Rodewald featuring some more hyper-cleverosity before redeeming itself with its refrain, "Love is not the instrument of pain / It's your own mind".

Brain Stew/Jaded - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Brain Stew was written as a result of lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong's exhaustion being kept up all night by his newborn son.
Due to the simplicity of Brain Stew, a song containing only 5 power chords, 5 bass notes, and a relatively simple drum pattern for Tre Cool's usual fast tom fills and explosive transitions, this song is one of the first to appear in the repertoire of many garage bands.
The phrase "Brain Stew" may be a reference to "Manson", a parody of Lassie on the short-lived Ben Stiller Show in which Bob Odenkirk plays Manson as a rural family's "dog".
