  Perseids and Pelopids
Upon seizing the thrones of Mycenae and Tiryns, Sthenelus also sent for Atreus and Thyestes, the sons of Pelops, and entrusted Midea to them.
It is the third major fortified city of the Argolid after Mycenae and Tiryns and was located roughly halfway between the two; it was built atop a conical hill and overlooks the Argolid plain.
Second, several of the sons of Perseus had married daughters of Pelops and Hippodamia — the tradition seems unconcerned here with the chronological discrepancy which would make these daughters the age of the Perseids' great-grandmother — Alcaeus married Astydamia, who was the mother of Amphitryon; Mestor married Lysidice; and Sthenelus married Nicippe.

 Atreus, Greek Mythology Link.
Now both Amphitryon and his wife Alcmena were descendants of Perseus 1; so while they were in exile in Thebes, the throne of Mycenae, instead of being in possession of the Perseids (descendants of Perseus 1) came gradually under the rule of the Pelopides (descendants of Pelops 1).
For Sthenelus 3 married Pelops 1's daughter Nicippe 1, and when he seized Mycenae, he also entrusted to Atreus and Thyestes 1 the city of Midea, which is northeast of Argos.
Sthenelus 3 was succeeded by Eurystheus, known as the tormentor of Heracles 1.

 Amphitryon, Greek Mythology Link.
This is how the Pelopides infiltrated the royal house of Mycenae, and eventually (counting from Eurystheus, son of Sthenelus 3 and Nicippe 2), took power in the city, keeping it until the HERACLIDES, who are Perseids, that is descendants of Perseus 1, invaded the Peloponnesus.
For now, Sthenelus 3, seizing the throne of both Mycenae and Tiryns, banished Amphitryon from the whole territory on account of his brother's death.
