Scott McCloud, in his book Understanding Comics, basically said that it does not matter what the content of the comic is. A comic can be an edgy murder mystery or a strange but humorous sci-fi fic.
The provider you host your comic on is not your editor, but may (as KeenSpace does) reserve the right to remove your comic for many or any reason.
The comic is for the most part funny, so something not funny catches the reader off-guard and grabs their attention.

In an interview with the good doctor one youngster even claimed that he was sitting on the fence in respect to his sexual identity but upon recognizing an underlying (his words) homosexual relationship between Batman and Robin he cast off his doubts and liberated his effeminate tendencies immediately.
Although creators found ways to stick them into storylines or recurring roles it wasn't until the modern era that mainstream companies have allowed creators the freedom to be as overt as they are now.
While it's exciting to think that comics might reflect more of the world we live in, and not some mythological world where we don't, one has to always bear in mind that this is a very sensitive subject.

The "Lou" comics were actually funny and in the beginning they were representing a comic depiction of my good pal Lou Simonetti.
I drew the punk comic because his 'zine is a punk publication.
The comic got published and then Matt published it in his 'zine "Trivia." Ink 19 published it and it is published on their web-site.

 When Good People Buy Bad Comics
I admit, an advantage to buying a name brand comic is that the business you've bought from has lasted forty years or more and probably isn't going to go out of business the way an indie might.
But, comic books are supposed to be a creative venture, not a mechanical device (although the way some comic books are written, you'd think a robot did it, using a plot device template).
Many good comics have been lost in limbo because a comic book company goes down the drain, leaving creator rights in the land of the lost.

It includes color comics not posted here plus a large JPEG of the first Cynicalman minicomic from 1980 that will be of interest to collectors and historians for centuries to come.
I liked the way the stick figure art looked in a comic that size and when I discovered I could sell them, I was hooked.

The character Stick Dude was not called that, but instead the star was named after a friend of mine named Scott Church.
All the other characters of stick dude were also named after my friends, but I changed their names because on the Julius West web site, names were not allowed.
If me and Stick Dude were the last two people on earth after a nuclear holocaust, I would wait a few days before I eat him.

There's nothing wrong with sprite comics or stick figures, but they are not evidence of someone working on improving their skills as a cartoonist; they are simple devices employed to tell gags -- again, nothing wrong with that!
His original claim on a popular forum that I emailed him was a piling on in response to the recent archive-deletion-kerfuffle, and tends to reveal that there was more to the most recent attacks than simply honest debate.
So my final summation, as a guy from a chronically poor family, who by all rights shouldn't even be allowed on the internet with all of these rich kids: there's a lot of growing up to do in the webcomics world.

Removing the official schedule probably won’t affect the comic’s frequency much, but it will remove the additional stress when I’m unable to meet the three-times-a-week deadline (and removing stress is a good thing, according to my doctor).
Not only will this free up valuable comic space that no longer has to be devoted to certain aspects of exposition, but it means that for a while, Erfworld will have a new page on Thursday, too.

Stick Life Comics is a multi-linear comic strip creator that allows users to place various strip panel selections onto a crossword puzzle style grid to create their own versions of the text-free comic adventures.
This is a kind of game as well, as people are challenged to make all the pieces feel like they "fit" in the right spots, even though there are many possible comic combinations.
Once completed, the user may print what they've made or start over with a new storyline and/or grid.

 Spawn the Eternal - Reader Review - GameFAQs
Although the visuals in the game can be somewhat inconsistant of what you would expect of anything that has to do with the Spawn comics, there are a couple of things that do happen to shine through out the blurred haze of color.
One of these, is the movements that Spawn makes while in a fight...they come off fluidly, and they are put into the game to add at least some sense of realism, smashing heads together, punching an enemy into submission, and throwing someone away from you.
Spawn is an awesome force to be reckoned with in the comic books, but in this title for the PSX, there is very little of the bad man that we all know and cheer on.

However, there are several things that distinguish this comic from other stick figure comics, that make it what it is.
This means that these comics are true to life, and when framed should look almost exactly like as you see them here (except the matting will probably be a little different).
Secondly, this comic is almost a visual blog, featuring versions of myself and the people involved with the Bellingham School of Comics.

I like the idea of stick figure comics but am rather bored by the humor.

As with the gameplay element, everything dealing with the game’s visual look is exaggerated and comical.
For starters, the locales players will be battling through vary widely, from an oil rig, to a carnival, and even a haunted house.
In the end, the game possesses its own style, brought over from the comic and TV show, but more polish would have been nice.

 12 year-old suspended for drawing violent comic book [Archive] - Toon Zone Forum
The Nov. 7 edition of the Columbus Dispatch carried a story of 12-year-old boy being suspended pending possible expulsion for drawing violent stick-figure comics.
I mean there's violence in tv shows, video games, and comic books all the time.
ofcourse its ridiculous to do that to a kid, they should be commending him for making a comic, but instead they suspend him.
