It reached Stillmore in 1898 as the Bruton and Pineora that was organized in 1897.
In 1907 the Georgia and Florida took over the M.and S.W. (The 9 miles from Vidalia to Pendleton became a Dart of the GandF main line.) The section through Stillmore was known as the Millen Branch.
