He writes of this visit in a newspaper article entitled “I Storkyrkans vind” (“In the Attic of Stockholm Cathedral”), printed in the October 15th issue of “Nya Dagligt Allehanda” (A Stockholm daily newspaper).
When the St. George Statue was renovated in 1954, the relics, Antonius Masth´s consecration document and Strindberg´s description of his find in 1881 were put back into their original place in the breastplate of St. George.
