Topic: Stockholm urban area

 Urban sprawl Summary
Areas of urban sprawl are also characterized as being extremely dependent on automobiles for transportation.
Some urban planners claim that in traditional neighborhoods these buildings were given places of importance in the community, accessible to everyone, and often creating the focal point of an entire city, perhaps at the end of a scenic boulevard, but that this scheme is radically different in suburban areas.
Urban sprawl is not the only way to increase real estate development; many of the urban areas of cities in Japan, Hong Kong, and Europe which have controlled urban growth plans show higher property values than do their suburbs.
