Also, I understand that being a flight attendant is the only career in the world which requires you to accept vomit from customers and say "Thank you!" with a smile.
I was personally especially shocked by the tragedy as last summer, the daily Air France flight from Beijing - a flight I use regularly - was operated overnight both ways, arriving in Paris at 06.55am at Terminal E, disembarking alongside the flight from Newark; the roof collapsed on Sunday at 7am.
