A MAN has been charged with murder after his 38-year-old wife was found strangled at the family home where they lived with their two young sons.
Maurice Allen, 52, of Chalk Farm Road, Stokenchurch, was arrested on Monday evening following the discovery of his wife Linda's body at their £250,000 detached home at around 8.30pm that day.

Residents of Stokenchurch and Radnage have formed a Community Action Forum, (CAF), to develop a Local Action Plan for the two villages, and are asking residents, community groups and organisations what changes could be made to benefit their areas.
Wycombe District Councillor Sarah Marshall, Chairman of the Stokenchurch and Radnage CAF, explains, "Only by asking residents how they feel their villages can be improved, will an accurate picture be drawn at grass roots level, which will contribute to our Community Plan.
The Stokenchurch and Radnage CAF has a small membership at present and, with the task in front of them, is looking for recruits to help them develop their Community Plan.

The area around Stokenchurch was always an outpost for the species, presumably the species being attracted by the extensive and often inaccessible wooded hills.
