		The electricity distribution companies in Western Bulgaria, which became part of CEZ Group in the end of 2004, invested a total of 65 million levs in 2005, mostly in replacing electrometers* and network upgrades.
		As a result EDC Stolichno, EDC Sofia Oblast, and EDC Pleven managed to cut network losses by 11.4% (from 19.3% to 17.1% on average for the three companies) in 2005, despite the growing electricity consumption.
		Over the last year the supply costs of the three companies also fell due to the coordination of activities and the unification of supply contracts.
