The Historic Crown Hotel is a landmark in the centre of Stone and once again, the management have donated the use of the ballroom for the Festival.
Stone Food and Drink Festival were given a grant from The Stone Market Town Initiative to employ a part-time administrator but we couldn't run the festival without the help of volunteers.

Through the wealth and influence of her family she also founded new convents at Trentham in Staffordshire, Hanbury near Tutbury, and Weedon in Northamptonshire, and secured the interest of Ethelred in establishing the collegiate Church of Saint John the Baptist in Chester, and in giving land to Egwin for the great abbey of Evesham.
She was buried in the monastery of Hanbury in Staffordshire.

The programme for the Food and Drink Festival has now been released.
The recycling centre will be opening in October 2007 and will be situated on Beacon Road, Stone Business Park, off the A34 Stafford Road at the roundabout with the A51 Butterhill Bank Road - about 1 mile from Stone Town Centre.
Stone's prestigious Food and Drink Festival is soon to be joined by a new music festival!

We are a mixed choir of around 70 singers, based in the midlands canal town of Stone in Staffordshire.
We are a friendly group, generally performing three or four concerts a year in and around the town.
In addition, we offer free membership to people in full time education, and people under 21 get the first year free.
