		The median income for a household in the county is $32,637, and the median income for a family is $36,844.

		The White River flowing west to east completely divides Stone County, Missouri into northern and southern areas; and with Kings River and Indian Greek flowing north from Arkansas, the southern region was isolated so that the area of Williams Township is more closely allied topographically to Carroll County, Arkansas.
		Population growth increased to such an extent that in 1851 Stone County was formed from Taney; and the decade saw continued growth and development.

		Since there were no other Long's in Stone County, Missouri except the Abner Long family, it is assumed this land purchase was made by this Joseph.
		Their parents, in the 1850 Franklin County AR census, have disppeared and I have yet to find them, or the rest of the family, again.
