I was suggesting that using Stonepunk to run a Flintstones-type game set in the present day might be more fun than doing a "serious" stone-punk game.
I thought if I were ever to get involved in a Stonepunk game, it would end up being a parody of something like Cyberpunk, just as you had episodes of The Flintstones that parodied spy movies ("A-judo, a-chop chop!").
I'd be interested to hear a report of a Stonepunk gaming session.
Stonepunk focuses on pre-technological developments in pre-historic times, its juxtapositions of the modern world with the primitive; with action and adventure.

Steampunk (which also includes clockpunk, stonepunk, and medievalpunk) and Teslapunk (which includes atompunk) are exact opposites, the way I see it.
Steampunk is, as I understand it, the displacment of modern or futuristic concepts, tools, and society on the past, most commonly pre-WWI history, and most most in Edwardian or Victorian settings.
Stonepunk describes a sub-genre of the Steampunk science fiction genre which was introduced along with several other variations by the GURPS Steampunk worlds.
Unlike most classic steampunk influenced fiction, there is a modern template of technology inspired through the primitive base of material that is supplied by the elements and environment during the Stone Age.

Today a slow war of ideologies, is taking place across the "airwaves." GMs can decide whether the other societies are socialist, monarchist, democratic, cannibal, or just performing ritual sacrifices.
Although the Stonepunk TL0+8 society represents the cutting edge on this world, the other tribes possess technology varying from TL0 to TL0+7.
Other than the "title" society, most other territories reserve their most advanced equipment for the governments and military, leaving their citizens lagging one or more tech levels behind.
