	Strait Up - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Strait Up was an album released by Snot in 2000 (the album has been credited to Various Artists and Strait Up as well).
		Originally intended to be Snot's sophomore album, for release in 1999, plans were drastically changed when lead singer Lynn Strait died in a car accident on December 11, 1998.
		The finished album was released on November 7, 2000, featuring the 11 tracks, a spoken word tribute from Ozzy Osbourne, another spoken word piece by Strait himself, and Snot's last recorded song with their original lineup.

		Strait was a throwback to the 50s honky-tonk sound of country music.

		Snot's debut album, Get Some, was issued in 1997, and although it didn't race up the charts, it did land the group a prime spot on the next year's edition of Ozzfest (during which Strait was arrested at one point for 'indecent exposure' on stage).
		But the group never got their shot, as Strait was killed when his Ford Tempo collided with a truck on the 101 Freeway near Santa Barbara at approximately 1 p.m.
		Titled Strait Up, the album featured some of rock music's top names providing vocals to the tracks that Strait and his Snot mates were working on for their proposed second disc - including contributions from Jonathan Davis, Fred Durst, Serj Tankian, Max Cavalera, Lajon Witherspoon, and Mark McGrath, among others.
