Very interestingly he implied that the entire distance between the current Stratford station and International was to be developed as a shopping mall, but refused to confirm that there would be a decent means of getting between the two, i.e travelator, or even a direct walking route.
Some years ago a travelator was talked about between Stratford and the international station, but no doubt the price has gone up since then.
Seems that the only reason that International was built was because Newham Council got them by the short and curlies by saying no International Station no premission to move spoil from the tunneling in their area.

Existing plans for regeneration around Stratford, such as the International Station, improvements to the transport infrastructure and the Rail Lands development, will all contribute to making London’s bid for the 2012 Olympics a very persuasive one.
For Stratford, this news is potentially of the greatest importance as the proposed Olympic stadium, the Olympics village and many new sporting facilities would be located in the Lower Lea Valley and around Stratford.
For Stratford business women, there is now the opportunity to take part in monthly networking lunches, arranged by Fiona Ross, of Women's Junction.

There is a rail station at Birmingham International and the journey to Stratford-upon-Avon takes about 1hr 40 mins with a change at either Birmingham New Street or Leamington Spa.
The Stratford Moat House is situated on the banks of the the River Avon, just on the edge of the town centre and just down the road from the Royal Shakespeare theatre.
There are also direct National Express coaches from Heathrow to Stratford, but only two a day and the timings do not work to get people to the conference in time if you are arriving on the 12th June.

alwaystouchout.com - DLR to Stratford International
At Stratford Regional (the station serving all existing routes, as opposed to the forthcoming International station), the DLR would use the current NLL low-level platforms adjacent to the Jubilee Line, and would then run alongside the current NLL to the western end of Stratford International station, which is located some distance from the Regional station.
Extending to Stratford International would involve disruptive tunnelling work and a new station at Stratford Regional; the NLL takeover plan uses the NLL platforms (and the NLL would be diverted to the existing Lea Valley line platforms).
There is potential for this route to be further extended from Stratford International to Temple Mills in the future, should new developments warrant it.
