All 3 major series have had 3 titles, numbered, Zero and EX and the art for the latter is pretty sweet.
The original Street Fighter has been released recently on the PS2 and Xbox as part of their Capcom Classics Collection (w/ Remixed as a suffix on the PSP).

SF EX3   (Site not responding. Last check: )
Street Fighter EX 3 is a poor-playing and ugly 3D version of the series that fails to capture the imagination like the 2D classics have.
This is essentially, a 2D fighter in a 3D frame, which constricts the gameplay to the 2D plane with no apparent benefit since the game lacks the precision of the true 2D games in the series, and doesn’t look good enough in 3D to be truly worth the loss in control and feel.
Street Fighter EX 3’s poor execution and lack of appealing characters make this title an irredeemable disaster not worth mentioning in the same context as it’s 2D cousins.

Street Fighter EX 3 seems to have a darker look than the previous EX games.
In short, Street Fighter EX 3 looks like a rushed effort made only in the interest of making a quick buck.
Despite the cool idea of having a tag mode and simultaneously using two characters at once, Street Fighter EX 3 still feels cheap and it doesn't deliver the greatness that Street Fighter fans have come to expect of the series.

Street Fighter fans may or may not dig this game, depending on how open-minded they are.
Overall, Street Fighter EX 3 is a solid and worthwhile title that shines in a lot of areas.
However, since Street Fighter is a name that has become intimately familiar to a legion of gamers, I have to believe that EX 3 received more harsh scrutiny than it probably deserved.

Street Fighter Ex 2 is Capcom's second attempt at a 3D fighting game.
Saying the Street Fighter games should remain 2D is just stupid but it can be difficult for a 2D game such as Street Fighter to be converted to a 3D game.
Street Fighter was designed as a 2D game and to become a 3D game it either has to change its control method and play differently, or play the same but just use 3D graphics.

 Street Fighter EX 3
I'm now hoping that the next Street Fighter EX game will have individually skin toned characters, with their own unique skin tone color, anti-aliasing, more advanced looking characters with a more realistic look (think Tekken Tag) and more navigative arenas would be very nice.
Street Fighter EX3 is also a lot like Tekken Tag, every time you beat the game with a different character you are rewarded a new character such as Bison, Garuda, Shadow Geist, or Sagat.
Street Fighter EX3 is quite the enjoyable game, its got a few tweaks here and there over the Japanese version, but nothing that the average gamer would care about, I like the action, and this is probably the best four player fighter of the three games, because of the more edgy and arcade gameplay.

Street Fighter or commonly abbreviated as SF, (ストリートファイター in Japan) is a popular series of fighting video games in which the players pit combatants from around the world, each with his or her own special moves, against one another.
Street Fighter II, released on Capcom's CPS-1 arcade board in 1991, was one of the most popular games of the early 1990s, shaping the direction of arcade games for nearly a decade to follow.
Street Fighter III was not ported to a home system until December 1999 in Japan and early 2000 in the U.S. when it was released in a double pack with its follow-up SFIII: 2nd Impact for the Dreamcast.

Street Fighter EX Plus Alpha for PlayStation Review - PlayStation Street Fighter EX Plus Alpha Review
SF EX Plus Alpha is not a game for turtlers and not necessarily even a game for Street purists - this is now less of a game of strategy than it is a game of action, without a doubt.
SF EX Plus Alpha's audio is quite good, full of pleasant, upbeat synthesized techno and rock music, plus a number of clear voice samples that are easily as good as those in any previous SF title.
Taken as a whole, Street Fighter EX Plus Alpha is a fun game with great gameplay, better than average aesthetics, and a large number of characters.

When X-Men vs Street Fighter was released for the arcade, it collected much acclaim due to the novelty of pitting Marvel Comics X-Men characters against the now-famous Street Fighter characters.
Street Fighter characters were lifted from the Street Fighter Alpha series, including Akuma, Ryu, Ken, Charlie, Dhalsim, Zangief, Cammy, and Chun-Li.
