These include the well-known Strombus gigas (Pink or Queen Conch), Strombus costatus (Milk Conch), Strombus raninus (Hawk-wing Conch), Strombus alatus (Florida Fighting Conch), Strombus pugilis (West Indian Fighting Conch), and much rarer Strombus gallus (Rooster-tail Conch).
