		Struer By The town of Struer stands well-sheltered in its bay between the points Vrald and Struer Odder, where the Limfjord narrows into Kilen (the wedge).
		Struer thus derived its characteristic bisectional town plan with an eastern town mainly populated by railway officials from the railroad, and a western town with many fishermen, tradesmen and workers.
		One of the characteristic features of Struer are the arches of the railroad bridge, which has separated the town from the harbour since the restructuring of the line to Thy in 1920-23.

		Struer is a municipality (Danish, kommune) in Ringkjøbing County on the Jutland peninsula in west Denmark.

		Before its arrival Struer was a little town, that primarily functioned as a harbour for the residents of Holstebro; but after its arrival the town grew explosively into a big city, and eventually became one of Denmark's most important railway connection points.
