Stuart Little (film) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Stuart Little is a 1999 live-action film, based on the novel of the same name.
Geena Davis and Hugh Laurie star as Eleanor and Fredrick Little, with Jonathan Lipnicki as Stuart's big brother George and Nathan Lane as the voice as the family cat Snowbell.
The same goes for Snowbell who attempts to eat Stuart upon his arrival in "The Little House" and goes to Smokey (whose dialogue sounds similar to that of Don Vito Corleone) (Chazz Palminteri), the boss cat who arranges for Stuart to be "scratched out" (killed).

As I watched *Stuart Little* I found myself wondering why it was rated PG and not G. There were some issues of ignominy in it but not nearly as much as the vast majority of PG movies nowadays.
Stuart, their newly adopted mouse as a son, was not welcome at first by his human brother, George but the writers were kleenex-for-sniffles efficient at closing that gap as the show progressed.
As Stuart ran away because he was led to believe by cruel lies that he was unwanted (another influence of its own), the pain showed by the rest of the family members may find unpleasant anchoring in your child's memory.

SPLICEDwire | "Stuart Little 2" review (2002) Rob Minkoff, Michael J. Fox, Jonathan Lipnicki
A significant improvement over its plotless, meandering predecessor, "Stuart Little 2" is fun-loving, low calorie, big-city adventure for the seamlessly computer-animated talking mouse with the effervescent voice of Michael J. Fox.
Little's wedding ring -- naive, good-hearted Stuart is convinced the falcon has snatched her away and sets out on a rescue mission, dragging along a very reluctant Snowball, the Littles' pampered house cat with the Vaudevillian voice of Nathan Lane.
"Little 2" is also a visual treat, taking place in a Crayola-colored New York City and featuring such incredible CGI animation of Stuart, Margalo and Falcon (given the delightfully villainous voice of James Woods) that even in close-up they're literally undistinguishable from the live-action around them.
