Scientology --- Study Tech in Nevade "is run by Scientology"
Two interesting lines of enquiry are the origins of the Study Tech books (all derived from Scientology's ostensibly religious works) and the way in which Study Tech is used and promoted in wider society.
Study Tech has repeatedly run into problems when it has been introduced into the public education system.
Hubbard himself said that Study Tech is part of the religious work of Scientology: "The Tech of Study is new and is part of the Tech of Scientology" (Hubbard, "The Tech of Study," LRH Executive Directive 11 EU of 20 July 1974).

Study Technology - L. Ron Hubbard, Humanitarian/Education, Study Tech
That is, by examining his own progress through a course of study, he was better able to isolate the barriers to study as a whole.
Yet there is a far grander view of how he came to develop Study Technology and, succinctly put, it is this: If Scientology may be literally defined as “knowing how to know” in the most expansive sense of the word, then perforce it must contain the answers to how we acquire knowledge.
Finally, and remembering we are speaking of essential truths drawn from the greater body of Scientology, he reiterated the universality of Study Technology – which is once more to say: These are the barriers to study, and LRH solutions provide for the education of all students on all subjects.

Clearly the economy hasn't been especially friendly to technology companies during the past year and a half, but a new study suggests that most of those brands didn't do themselves any favors, either -- shooting themselves in the foot by failing to build meaningful customer relationships.
The survey's respondents said that one of the best ways to redeem a brand, and to market and create demand in a tight economic climate, is through public relations, followed closely by customer relationship management and brand advertising.
Additionally, the study found that technology executives play a significant role in their company's brand, either helping or harming its perception.
