		Along with family get-togethers, there is the annual town reunion, organized by some of the descendants of the early settlers of the county.
		Just south of Sturgis is a large 110,000 acre preserve that brings in those who enjoy the outdoors and wildlife.

		When we arrived in Sturgis, (see photos) there were more bikes and people than there was at Vogel that is for sure...But this was a bike rally also, not just a weekend gathering for VR-members..
		We would walk up under a vendors canopy to stand in front of the one and only fan blowing hot air around but it was a lot cooler than standing in the direct sun light.
