Bagatellen: Jenks “Tex” Carman — Chippeha! The Essential Dixie Cowboy (1947-57) (Revenant)
He was a self-professed expert at imitating locomotives, cannon fire, bugles and drum corps on his guitar and examples abound of his skill at crafting aural facsimiles of these and other sound effects.
His singing suggests a weird crossbreeding of Uncle Dave Macon and Bascom Lamar Lunsford, with a reedy wizened inflection that sounds aged beyond his years.
“The Stutter Song” tosses the P.C. handbook in the trash heap as Carman imitates the titular impediment both vocally and on frets with aplomb.

Stuttering - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Stuttering, also known as stammering in the United Kingdom, is a speech disorder in which the flow of speech is disrupted by involuntary repetitions and prolongations of sounds, syllables, words or phrases; and involuntary silent pauses or blocks in which the stutterer is unable to produce sounds.
Stuttering appears to reduce stress temporarily, but then cause stress, creating a cyclical pattern in which the stutterer stutters on the first syllable of the first word, then says the rest of the word and several more words fluently, then stutters again, then says a few more words fluently, and so on.
Stuttering is a communicative disorder that affects speech; it is not a language disorder—although a person's use of language is often affected or limited by a stutter.
