Sucellus had turned and was already heading back over the short distance with his loping run, which was the best he could manage.
Sucellus had pledged himself to arming all the warriors amongst the Iceni, and he was producing a steady stream of iron tipped spears, daggers and honed swords.
Sucellus returned heirlooms to their owners on recognition; he seemed to sense to whom each weapon should belong, claiming that swords sang to him when their rightful owner arrived.

Although the commentaries are talking of the types of sacrifice given to each of these 'major' Gaulish gods, it is still a correlation between the Celtic thunder god and the Norse/Germanic thunder god Thor/Thunor/Donar in that the Anglo-Saxon cemeteries have 'cremation' pots with the swastika on them indicating a dedication to Thunor.
Certainly the representations of Sucellus have been felt to match those of Jupiter and the author Tertullian stated that Dispater had a hammer.
Sucellus is also depicted with a cup or a small pot as well as the tall hammer.

 Concerning the Order of Epona
The Knights of Sucellus aren't numerous, but they do exist; the druids made up the bulk of Sucellus' people, and they're still being integrated into the Order.
The Order believes that any horse that may be asked to go into battle must be intelligent enough to be a partner with their rider instead of just a mount.
With the addition of the Order of Sucellus, Epona clerics have been given more responsibilities, including conservatorship of forests and teaching farmers ways of working with their lands to make them more fruitful.

Herecura   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-03)
The goddess Herecura or Herequra appears to have been comparable to the deity that is known as Persephone (in Greek): she was at the same time a goddess of death and fertility.
Herecura's cult originated in the country north of the Adriatic Sea, where she and the death god (variously named Dis Pater and Sucellus) were jointly venerated in Aquileia.
Later, Roman soldiers took her cult across the Alps to Germania Superior and Raetia.
