Nickel Belt is an informal nickname for the Greater Sudbury region in Northern Ontario, because of the belt of nickel ore deposits found in the area.
It has traditionally included much of the Sudbury District and small parts of the Algoma, Nipissing and Timiskaming Districts, along with all but the urban core of Greater Sudbury.
