Sudermannia or Södermanland, is a historical province or landskap on the south eastern coast of Sweden.
The province of Sudermannia is divided upon the County of Södermanland, which occupies the heartland, and the County of Stockholm, which has claimed about a quarter of the territory in the west.
The southern half lies in Sudermannia and the northern half in Uplandia.

Sudermannia Grand Regiment, Södermanlands storregemente (also Regiment of the Land in Sudermannia, Landsregementet i Södermanland) was one of the nine grand regiments organized by Gustavus Adolphus in the late 1610s and split into smaller regiments in the 1620s.
Raised from fänikor in the provinces of Sudermannia, Nericia and Wermelandia in 1614 and counting 3,000 men.
Between 1624 and 1627, the regiment was split into three smaller regiments, Sudermannia Regiment, Nericia Regiment and Wermelandia Regiment (these two where soon after merged into the Nericia-Wermelandia Regiment) and the cavalry unit Swedish Banner of Nobles.
