Reoves clarified that she filed her complaint for rape in La Union as it was in Sudipen where the assault on her virtue was consummated.

In his affidavit, Prestado, a bodyguard of former Mayor Raymond Balbin of Candon City from December 2001 to August 2002, said Verzosa, Ontog and Marzo were in the payrolls of offices receiving proceeds from the syndicate’s drug operations.
The witness also detailed in his statement how the drugs they took from Camp Crame were systematically distributed to the Ilocos regional police office in La Union and the Sudapen police station.

A U.S. Army Honor Guard carry the remains of Army Specialist Solomon Bangayan, who was killed in Iraq, during a funeral ceremony Saturday, Jan. 24, 2004 in his family's hometown of Sudipen, in the northen Philippine province of La Union.
About 2,000 people, including La Union Governor Victor Ortega and other officials, joined the funeral march from the Bangayan home to the cemetery.

We conducted two tree planting activities with the students of Sudipen Central School and Luna Central School where we turned over 12 gardening tools for each school.
This way, we can encourage and help out our "Forest in a School" project, which is to establish a mini forest in all public schools of La Union.
