This list was compiled by John Davis, author of Suffolk Sundials to be published in late 1996.
This book has colour pictures of all the sundials listed here, with some notes on each dial, and a map of Suffolk, which is the country northeast of London stretching from Newmarket in the southwest to Lowestoft on the North Sea coast.
The park was presented to the town by Lord Woodbridge, and amongst the flowers of the park is this excellent modern equatorial dial made from stainless steel in 1988 by the local maker R S Simon.
