	Suicide doors... ideas?
		probably the most difficutl thing would be to deal with the weight of the doors, you would probably need some hinges that are stronger, cause what most of the suicide doors are put on have light dorrs made with fiberglass, or at least very lightweight materials, and the doors on the pinto arent too light.
		Keep in mind you're gonna have to totaly redo the door hanles (or the electric pop-out thingys that are cool nowdays) and i dare say it will be a pain to get in and out of the car with suicide doors.
		Another problem would be clearance for the excess door panel, it kind of rounds out so when it would hinge out it would need somewhere to go, might need to cut a hole in th pillar then weld in some sheet metal to form a pocket.

		the door post can be glued back on useing pannel glue and a 2 inch strip of sheet metal just glue the strip to the inside of the door and then glue the top (door post) to it but for better strength i would weld the inside of the post.

		Unfortunately suicide doors had a tendency to kill off their best customers.
		If a door came unlatched, because it was hinged at the back the air moving past the car flung the door open, and passengers often fell out.
		Not only have they moved the back door hinges and handles, most of these cars no longer have the center pillar between back and front that usually holds the door locks.

		The suicide doors might be hard cuz you don't have enough height in the rear of the door to mount a hinge at the top and at the bottom.
		For suicide doors, you probably need the rear of the rear doors be more vertical rather than shaped to our rear wheel wells.
		On Unique Whips, they install Lambo doors quite a bit and they buy a kit from someplace (they've never mentioned where) and it involves, welding (in some cases), removing fenders and doors (obviously) as well as lengthening all the wiring that goes into the doors.

		So the hinge is by the end of the seat, and the doors open towards the rear of hte car instead of the front.
		First suicide doors have never tickled my fancy, but in addition to that, most cars I've seen them on are 4 doors, were their doors are shorter and straighter.

		Since the Ford door is a pretty standard door, I cannot see why this cannot be applied to a 2 door car, pretty much the same setup.
		on the opposite side of the door you will have to remove and inner support brace that the floating hinge plate was attached to, it is best to completely remove the entire surrounding plate, as you can see the outline in the pic 10 how much was cut out.
		Lining up the doors is where it took the longest to make sure the gaps were equal all around.
