Abstract: In March 1949, the Chinese Communist Party held the Second Session of the Seventh Plenary Committee in Xibaipo, putting forward three strategies to wipe out the remaining power of Kuomintang, that is, the Tianjin strategy, Beiping strategy and Suiyuan strategy.
The three strategies are the principal ways for the CCP to eliminate the remaining army of Kuomintang; especially the Beiping strategy and the Suiyuan strategy had set the first example for the People's Liberation Army to achieve peaceful liberation through peace negotiations.
From the analysis of the formation, connotation and definition of the three strategies and also their influence on the development of the Liberation War, it can be inferred that the three strategies, especially the Suiyuan strategy, had greatly affected the success of the Liberation War.
