Sultan bin Abdul Aziz al-Saud, Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia (Arabic: صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير سلطان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود‎) (born January 5, 1928 in Riyadh) is the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, and First Deputy Prime Minister.
Prince Sultan was appointed Governor of Riyadh in 1947.
Prince Sultan is also the inspector general for the kingdom, and is Chairman of the Board of Saudi Arabia's national airline, Saudi Arabian Airlines.

Present-day Saudi Arabia is almost entirely the creation of King Ibn Saud who, after the dissolution of the Ottoman Empire in 1918, fought rival Arab rulers until, in 1926, he had established himself as the undisputed king of the Hejaz and sultan of Nejd.
Ibn Saud died in November 1953 and was succeeded by the crown prince, Saud (1902–69).

Prince Sultan is well known for his humanitarian and philanthropic contributions, establishing for this purpose "The Prince Sultan Ibn Abdul Aziz Al Saud Philanthropic Society." It is run by a Board of Trustees chaired by Prince Sultan, with his sons and a number of citizens as members.
